Ford windshield wash sprayer doesnt work?

I took my ford contour in early march to get an oil change. When I was done he said oh and the windshield wash sprayer wires are not right, which I knew because they only shot halfway which was frustrating. So since I got used to never using them I thought well Ill take it in when I go home again. Yesterday it rained and I thought well I will get some rainx windshield washer fluid. I put it in and nothing came out. I thought maybe since it was raining that maybe for some reason I couldnt see it. Well after a few tries nothing and this morning I tried it and then I opened the hood and looked. No fluid left. Just a little at the bottom.

I don't know how quickly it takes for it to be empty but also I dont know why there is none shooting out. Could there be a reason for this?

Also for a 98 ford is there an estimate on the cost to get this fixed and how long it would take them?Ford windshield wash sprayer doesnt work?
It sounds like the hose came off somewhere. Push the button to spray, see where it's coming out. Then look on the bottom side of the hood, you should see some black plastic tubing(it may be another color, black is the most common) going to the spray nozzles. follow it away from the nozzles. When you get to the end, connect it with the hose the fluid was coming out of when you sprayed it. If you don't see fluid coming out then there is probably a problem with the pump, fuse, switch, etc (unless the tank is empty). Hope this helps.Ford windshield wash sprayer doesnt work?
one of the pipes may be disconnected!?other than that your pumps probably gone!Ford windshield wash sprayer doesnt work?
Well, if the fluid is out that could be your problem! However, if you fill it and it still does not spray you may need a new washer pump. I dont know what model your 98 ford is, so prices will vary. Be more specific and I will be able to give you a price.
